Abstract	The purpose of this study was to reveal the extent of studies on distributed leadership. The study used a descriptive content analysis for systematic review. The study included knowledge base and intellectual structure, authors, articles, journals, methodologies, countries, citations, book chapters, and books that focused on distributed leadership from 2000 up to 2020. The analysis of the research was conducted first by reviewing papers indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database from 2000 to 2020. The results indicated that although distributed leadership was among the relatively new leadership models, it gained considerable ground and there was a sharp increase following 2015. (As Provided).
